I <3 Chinatown

Hell Caminos show at the Loft on Friday; recovery Saturday. The Hell Caminos are a local rockabilly band that sing songs about Chinatown and half-Korean girls. I got the scoop on the local scene: the certain people behind a certain magazine are assholes; a certain band should be renamed the retracted identifiable name (I actually like them, though with a name like that they are asking for it). It’s a cliquey scene because it’s a small town.
The “Rage for Haiti” benefit had filled up the bars; there was a line outside Manifest, which had turned into a meatmarket for the night. All for a good cause I guess.
